Why get porcelain veneers?
Your smile is the first thing people see. It should make you feel confident and amazing. Porcelain Veneers will completely transform your smile by changing the color, shape, and length of your teeth.
What to Expect
Forget the expensive dental costs that come with other orthodontic work! Porcelain veneers will transform your teeth that appear too small, uneven, chipped or stained into a clean, even and natural appearance by a placement over the front surfaces of the teeth. By partnering with the world’s top ceramist, we at Comfort Dental RI, create custom-made laminates that will correct the function, form and appearance of discolored or misshapen teeth.
During your treatment there will be a series of appointments to create your perfect smile. Initially we will take photographs in order to evaluate the symmetry, while deciding on other interdisciplinary approaches. Impressions will also be taken to make molds of the teeth and have a customized wax done up by a dental ceramist.
At a later date set up by our office, we will prepare the teeth if needed, and transfer the wax up to the patient’s mouth. At this time we will test out our mock up for the look and feel we desire.
The next step will be to minimally contour and take final impressions. Patients will be provided with temporary veneers to take home, mimicking the final result, while the laboratory begins to fabricate your customized veneers. A separate appointment will be made a few weeks later to follow up with the fit and aesthetics of the veneers. Once satisfied they will be cemented in place and you will be tested for phonetics, aesthetics and overall feel.
There will be a final follow up down the road to establish that the tissue is healing properly. If necessary minimal contouring will be done, and final photos will be taken.
