Your mouth will need to be prepared in certain instances in order for the dentures to fit properly, this may include tooth extraction. If extraction is required we will give your mouth time to heal before we place your new dentures.

Immediate Dentures
While you are waiting for your custom fit, permanent dentures we will have temporary ones available. These dentures can be put in once your teeth are removed. We will take whatever time necessary, and however many appointments necessary to make sure we achieve comfort and fit that satisfies you. Even with proper fit, they can take some time to get used to, but with patience, you will welcome your easy-to-care-for Dentures.

Denture Care

Once your dentures are ready we will walk you through how to clean them in order to eliminate build-up and bacteria. Dentures can be fragile, so careful handling is important, and it is important not to bend or damage them. A clean mouth and daily brushing of your dentures will keep your mouth in top shape. It is important to soak them overnight each night with a mild solution.

Regular Check-ups

Just because you have dentures doesn’t mean you can skip your regular check ups with us! It is very important to have us examine and clean them so that we make sure there is a proper fit being maintained. Healthy oral care is imperative, and Comfort Dental Rhode Island is ready to guide you down a safe and health path with safe and effective dentures.
